DESTINATION WEDDINGS

Photographing abroad has been one of the most exciting elements about my job. I love travelling and have photographed weddings all over Europe including Norway, France and Switzerland. I love to see all cultural weddings and photograph the different traditions around the world. As photography is my biggest passion in life, and as I enjoy travelling, to put these two together and photograph abroad would be an honour and great privilege.

I have been very lucky to shoot destination weddings in several countries and the experience has been amazing. Weddings abroad are becoming very popular, as is choosing a UK based photographer to travel and capture this special occasion.

Planning a wedding abroad is very special and exciting, it requires a lot of research including elements such as travel and hotels. Choosing a photographer can be difficult for a wedding abroad however, with Mathews Photography, we will try our best to make this process of having a wedding abroad as simple as possible. We can have a meeting where we discuss all details and any queries you may have as well as go through the plan of your wedding day.

By hiring a UK based photographer to photograph your wedding abroad, you can avoid a communication barrier that you could experience when hiring a photographer from abroad which may not be easy. It could also be difficult to try meet up with them before the wedding.

I like to meet with the couple and get to know them individually and as a couple for them to feel comfortable around me on their special day in order to try and get natural pictures.
